Robb Royer • CEO

1968 - Co-founded the band "Bread" with David Gates and James Griffin. Bread produced eleven hit singles and albums that have sold tens of millions of copies.

1970 - Won the Academy Award for the Best Song of 1970 for the film, "Lovers and Other Strangers."

1972 - Sold screenplay, titled "Black Angel" to AIP.

1970-1982 - Wrote several songs for such film and television organizations as NBC, CBS and Disney. Ray Charles recorded "She Knows."

1983 - Accompanied the world-renowned band, "Queen" on their European tour and wrote a television special for them.

1985 - Optioned " King's Ransom" to producer Jonathan Sanger ("Elephant Man" and "Frances"). Co-produced a "Live at Disneyland" segment for the Disney Channel, which aired extensively throughout a month long period.

1986 - Wrote "Club Fed" with Sean Finnigan. Producers Bluhdorn and Brown optioned the work and attached director Jeremiah Chechik.

1986 - 1989 Royer and Finnigan co-wrote "And Thurber Makes Three" and "Locked Out" which were optioned by Orion and bought by Interscope Pictures respectively.

1990 - Producers Weingrod and Harris and Universal Studios bought the rights to "Locked Out" from Interscope and commissioned a rewrite.

1990 - Co-wrote "Quittin' Time," the top #5 hit for Mary Chapin Carpenter with Roger Linn.

1992 - Co-wrote and produced a recording of "I've Fallen" and directed the music video. Enjoyed a long run on TNN and was featured on a worldwide edition of Entertainment Tonight.

1993 - "She Knows" recorded by "The Band" on Capitol Records.

1995 - "Sold (the Grundy county auction incident)" (Fagan/Royer) was cut by John Michael Montgomery and released on Atlantic Records. "Sold" went to #1 on the Billboard Magazine Chart for three weeks and was Billboard's Radio Song of the Year.

1998 - Co-wrote the Randy Travis cut "Raise Him Up" with Rivers Rutherford.

2000 - Mary Chapin Carpenter released a newly recorded version of "Quittin' Time" on her album "Party Doll."  The album reached number four on the country charts and was certified Gold.

2000 - Best of Bread CD re-issued and charted on the Billboard Top 200.

2001-2002 - Wrote along with partner Sean Finnigan, "Plain White Rapper" (with Barry Poole, Chris Clark), "Reach," "Sentences" and "The Picture" (with Gary Burr and Vince Melamed).   

2007 - Created and developed NashFilms Records L.L.C.

In addition to Robb Royer's outstanding achievements in the entertainment industry he has also created and run both a successful Real Estate and publishing business.
